Meeting Air Force Standards =(#Excellent + #Good) / Non-exempt population:
Not Meeting Air Force Standards:
Composite Exemption Rate =(# Exempt from entire test) / Total population
This week's top items: - We currently have 3 people with component exemption for "AC measurement" - this should be zero as realistically we can not have someone who is able to do cardio, crunch or push up and not able to have an AC measurement. - We still have 12 people in the "never tested" category -- they need to either be tested or exempted, as appropriate! Typically they are new to their current duty location so they likely qualify for a "commanders exemption" until six weeks after date arrived station. Exact procedures to apply this exemption correctly (exemption end date is DAS!) can be found in AFI 10-248 or "USAFE Fitness Management Tips" that can be downloaded from the front page of www.USAFEFitness.org. - A medical or component exemption should NEVER be entered into AFFMS without a Form 422A from the FPM as backup documentation. - UFPMs must monitor those on cardio exemption -- IAW AFI 10-248, "when the provider clears the exempted aerobic component of testing, the member will then be scheduled to complete the fitness assessment after 42 days." Currently, the FMS software does not manage this requirement so UFPMs must do so.
