USAFE Dominates US Forces Europe Powerlifting Championships USAFE powerlifters claimed first place in seven of the eight weight classes at the 2006 U.S Forces-Europe Powerlifting Championships held at Landstuhl Fitness Center, 11 Feb 06. Horace Youson (75kg), Shannon Carter (82.5kg), Troy Saunders (90kg), Jimmy Scott (100kg), Robin Riley (110kg), Willie Williams (125kg) and female athlete Elicia Hill (56kg) were victorious in their respective categories. Celesta Hicks-Williams of Vilseck won the 75kg female category. Ramstein male athlete Shannon Carter was also crowned as the Male Overall Champion for the event squatting 230kg, bench pressing 190kg and dead lifting 245kg for a total of 665kg. The Ramstein men's team claimed the team title with 69 points. Photos
